The Kenilworth Historical Society Invites You to a Holiday Celebration at the Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880) (49 South 21 Street, Kenilworth)

- Meet Santa (from Victorian times) (bring a camera for photos) and enjoy favorite holiday tunes sung (12-4 p.m.) by the Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers (dressed in Dickens-style Victorian attire). The carolers’ performance is sponsored by the Kenilworth Education Association PRIDE Committee.
- View Five Historic Rooms authentically decorated for Christmas (late 19th/early 20th-century) and exhibits (“100+ Years of School Days in New Orange/Kenilworth” and “Kenilworth - A Melting Pot of Many Cultures”). Tours provided in English and Spanish.
- Visit our multicultural “Christkindlmarkt” marketplace, featuring the Kenilworth Commemorative Coverlet, handcrafted gift items and holiday baked goods/treats.
- You are invited to bring, for the Nitschke House Cultural Heritage Tree, an ornament representing your family heritage, labeled as such, with your name.

The Oswald J. Nitschke House is equipped with an elevator and is fully accessible.
The Kenilworth Historical Society is an independent, volunteer-based, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to the research, preservation and interpretation of the historic Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880), local history and culture.
