The Kenilworth Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Full Time - Police Dispatcher.  Applications available at the Kenilworth Police Department and at the bottom of this job posting.

Full time shift work including weekends, holidays, and emergency call out. U.S. Citizenship and a High School diploma required. Starting salary $33,600.00. Applicants must be proficient in typing and using word programs on a computer. A physical exam, background check, and psychological testing are required.  Applicants must be able to multi-task and have good listening skills and be able to interact with the public.

The Kenilworth Borough Municipal Court is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual, with management and supervisory skills and good writing and communication skills to work under the direction of the Municipal Court Judge(s).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision of staff; answering questions form the public; providing information and procedural guidance to attorneys; facilitating communication among State, vicinage, and local authorities; preparing, reviewing, and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports; maintaining, reconciling, and balancing the court's financial accounts; drafting correspondence; evaluating reports; complying with the New Jersey Rules of Court, Supreme Court Directives, laws, policies and procedures governing the operation of the municipal courts; and performing other related duties as required.

The hiring process will comply with NJ Court Rule 1:34-3 adopted on September 13, 2011.

Applicants who have been awarded certification pursuant to NJSA 2B:12-11 are preferred or must obtain certification within six months of the hire date as set forth in NJ Court Rule 1:41-3.  Successful applicant must have attended POMCA training.

The Borough of Kenilworth is looking to fill a Full Time (40 hours/week) position for a Driver/Laborer.  The candidate must possess a Class A or B Certified Driver's License (CDL) with a good driving record.  A two (2) year minimum of public works experience is preferred.  Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidate shall be available to work overtime and for after-hour emergency calls. Candidate shall be required to pass a physical examination, NJDOT drug/alcohol test, and background check.
